I don't have much time tonight, so you'll all get a picture. In Florence, there is a great big duomo which is a church or cathedral or something, I guess. Something few people notice, however, is that one of the statues really looks like it's flipping everybody off. And I tell you, any day that I saw this statue was a good day, because how can you not laugh at the idea of a little church statue flipping you off?

Wow. That's funny! Good share! :)
Have you seen the "coming soon" poster for "Family Jewel" or whatever that new movie is? A little off-putting, I must say. But your statue is marvelous. THAT is what is known as an appropriate flipoff.
I HAVE seen the preview for "The Family Stone" and I'm actually really, really excited to see it. Mostly because I think that it's my family. And if you watch the preview and wonder who's who, I'm actually "The Worst One."
Do people pray to St. Pistoff?
He is the patron saint of really angry teenagers and those who suffer from road rage.
.
Pray, yes. But never gesticulate.
are you sure that photo isn't just "photoshopped"?
Dear doubting Thomas, or christovich79:
I saw the statue with my own eyes. It's not one that's pointed out to anyone by tour guides or the likes---it's just one that one of the elders in my district noticed one day, and we'd look at it and laugh every time we went past the cathedral. I took the picture myself to document it. And I promise that I never touched it up. So yes, I'm sure that the photo isn't just photoshopped.
Awesome.
Elders do have a purpose.
